2FA Setup

Two-Factor Authentication is a required step to protect your Let’s Bamble account.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

To protect your account and personal data, Let’s Bamble requires all users to activate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) during the registration process. 2FA adds an extra layer of security by requiring a time-sensitive code from your mobile device in addition to your password.

We use Google Authenticator (or any TOTP-compatible app) for this purpose.

Why Is 2FA Mandatory?

  • 🔐 Increases protection against unauthorized access

  • 🚫 Prevents account takeovers in case your password is compromised

  • 📱 Ensures that only you can log in from new devices or locations

🛡️ 2FA is required for all users before accessing the platform or performing any real-money transactions.

How to Set Up 2FA

  1. After verifying your email during registration, you’ll be prompted to set up 2FA

  2. Open the Google Authenticator app (or a compatible app like Authy)

  3. Either:

  • Scan the QR code shown on screen, or

  • Manually enter the provided setup key

  1. The app will generate a 6-digit time-based code

  2. Enter that code on Let’s Bamble to complete your setup

✅ Once completed, you’ll need to enter a new 6-digit code every time you log in.

How to Use 2FA

  • When logging in, after entering your email and password, you’ll be asked to enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app

  • The code refreshes every 30 seconds

  • If the code doesn’t work, make sure your phone’s date and time are set automatically

🔎 Lost Access to Your 2FA?

If you’ve lost access to your authenticator app (e.g., changed phones or deleted the app):

  1. Go to the login screen and click “Can’t access 2FA?”

  2. Follow the instructions to contact support

  3. Be ready to verify your identity with:

  • Your registered email address

  • A government-issued ID

  • Details of your recent account activity (if requested)

Once verified, we’ll help you reset your 2FA and restore access to your account.

🔐Tips for 2FA Safety

  • Save your backup code or secret key in a secure location during setup

  • Avoid using the same authenticator app for multiple accounts without naming them clearly

  • If possible, enable backup sync in apps like Authy for easier device recovery

  • Never share your 2FA code with anyone

🔚 Summary

Two-Factor Authentication is a required step to protect your Let’s Bamble account. It’s fast to set up, easy to use, and adds strong protection to your gaming experience. Always keep your 2FA device safe—and if you ever lose access, we’ll help you recover it.
